China’s toys export exceeded US$ 2.37 billion in June, up by 44.24% year on year and 32.35% over last month, of which, the export of traditional toys (include dolls, educational toys, puzzles, electric trains and toy musical instruments etc.) totaled US$ 1.28 billion, up by 19.58% year on year and 13.77% month on month, accounting for 54.20% of the total; the export of baby strollers & bicycles reached US$ 280.18 million, up by 13.32% year on year and 1.94% month on month, accounting for 11.83%of the total; the export of festive articles totaled US$ 477.93 million, up by 79.79% year on year, up by 117.04% month on month, accounting for 20.17% of the total; the export of video games(not coin or disc-operated) totaled US$ 427.10 million, up by 204.79% year on year, up by 63.19% month on month, accounting for 31.22% of China’s total toys export this month.
Among all the export destinations this month, the U.S., ranking the first, absorbed US$ 823.40 million of China’s toys export, followed by the Netherlands and UK with US$ 143.92 million and US$ 136.14 million respectively.
